Otha "Mac" Winfield Mcgann, Jr.

Otha Winfield "Mac" McGann, Jr., age 80, of Jefferson City, TN and formerly of Decatur, TN, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2020.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Otha Winfield McGann, Sr. and Clara Beaulah Barger, brothers: Phil McGann, C. B. McGann, sisters: Bernice Morrison, Kay Perkinson, Geneva Cooley, Marcie McGann, former spouse: Huberta LeaAnn Jarvis.

Mac served 4 years in the U.S. Navy. He was aboard the U.S.S. Wasp as a Boilermaker from 1958 to 1962. He was employed by Farmers Chemical in Chattanooga and President of McGann Construction in Rocky Face GA. He also was President of the T&M Structures as well as President of ECI Marketing until his retirement in 2000.



Survivors include his sons: William Glenn McGann (Barbara) of Hartselle, AL, O. W. (Mac) McGann, III, (Carla) of Arab, AL, Charles Michael BenjaminMcGann (Rebecca) of Hixson, TN, daughter: Ryann Ray McGann Ellis of Dalton, GA, grandchildren: Alexis, Stowe, Natalie, Jesse, Tiffany, Claire, Counsel, former spouses: Sondra Montgomery McGann, Mary Evelyn Perkinson, several nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.

A Masonic Service will be held in the Chapel of Bowers Funeral Home on Friday, August 14, 2020 at 1 p.m. with Rev. James Staton officiating. Interment will follow in the Decatur Cemetery.

Family will receive friends on Friday, August 14, 2020 from 11 to 1 before the service.
