Olene Sanders

Olene Sanders of Decatur, died at Life Care Center in Athens Tuesday, 3-4-14. . She was a member of Elk Creek Baptist, Cumberland City, TN. A loving mother, good wife and raised four children. She is preceded in death by her parents. Survived by her husband (John) Clayton Sanders; three sons, Harold A. Sanders, Charles (Chuck) Sanders, John A. Sanders; one daughter, Vickie D. Sanders Schorzer; four brothers, Jim Crowley, Charles Crowley, Herbert Crowley, Jack Crowley; five sisters, Florence Drury, Wilona Lawson, Joyce Sheppard, Betty Puper, Annie Boyer; 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends at Bowers Funeral Home in Decatur for 5-8 on Wednesday Mar. 5 Funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, Mar. 6 in the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Max Redman officiating. Burial will be in the Mountain View Memorial Gardens, Decatur, TN.
