Norma Jean Letner England

Norma Jean Letner England, age 74, of Ten Mile, entered into the Gates of Heaven on Saturday, August 13, 2022. Norma was a member of Ten Mile Holiness Church. She attended Watts Bar Church of God many years before returning to her home church at Ten Mile Holiness. She served God, Church, Family, friends, and her Community faithfully. God was always first in her life. Norma had the gift of help and it was used every day of her life. Many lives were touched and blessed through her. She always put the needs of others ahead of her own. She was a Nurse for many years and loved helping everyone. She was known to family and community as “nurse or doctor” Norm. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years: Frank England, Parents: Elmus “Curly” and; Reba Letner, In Laws: Fain and Carrie England, Brothers-in-Laws and Sisters-in-Laws: Tommy Sitzlar, Johnny Crumley, Kenneth and Blanche England, Opal and James Enix, Bill Wilson, Dennis Reed, Ronnie Hixson and Jewell England, several Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews that were so dear to Norma as well. Survivors include her son: David England, her daughter and son in law: Gina and James Gable, all of Ten Mile, Granddaughters: Kristen and her husband Jon Henry of East Dublin, GA, Megan and her husband Ujjval Patel, Brittany and her husband Eli Taylor, all of Kingston, TN, Great-Granddaughters: Tinsleigh Henry, Jolee, and Madelyn Taylor, Special Sisters: Linda Sitzlar and Brenda Crumley, both of Ten Mile. Brother: and sister in law: Kenny Letner and Lynn Letner of Athens, TN, Bill and Wilma England, Sisters-In-Laws and Brothers-In-Laws: Peggy Hixson, Joann Reed, Libby and Larry Douglas, Mike and Robin England, all of Ten Mile. Jerry and Debbie England, James and Judy England all of Decatur, TN, A Dear Sweet Friend: Charlotte Gable of Ten Mile, several cousins, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and friends that were all special to her. A Funeral Service will be Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at 6 p.m. in the Chapel of Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Pastor Kelly Goins and Rev. Curtis Porter officiating. The Family will receive friends from 4 to 6 prior to the service. Interment will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Roberts Cemetery in Ten Mile. Pallbearers will be Ujjval Patel, Jon Henry, David Shanahan, Mike England, Alan Crumley and Jason McHone. Honorary Pallbearers will be Charlie Valentine and Brandon Letner.
