Norma Kay McKenzie Davidson, age 85, of Jacksonville, Florida, formerly of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2026.
Norma was a daughter of the late Fred McKenzie and Ravelle McKenzie Hudson.
Norma grew up in Battle Creek, where she pursued her education and later attended business school, earning an Associate's Degree in Secretarial Studies. She began her professional career with State Farm, dedicating many years to the company and excelling in her role as a secretary.
In her personal life, Norma moved to Callahan, Florida, where she raised her children with love and devotion. After her children grew, she returned to Battle Creek, continuing her career at a catering business. It was there that she found great joy working in the gift shop, sharing her warmth and passion with all who visited.
As her health declined, Norma chose to relocate back to Florida to be close to her children. She is survived by her children, Nick (Carrie), Jimmie (Angela) and Cassandra Davidson; her grandchildren, Keith, Kyle, Payton Davidson, and Austyn Peters; as well as her sister, Sharon Crandal, and a host of extended family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, in the Decatur Cemetery.
