Nancy S. Kile

Nancy S. (Spurlock) Kile, age 64, of Chattanooga, TN, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at her residence. She attended Cottonport Baptist Church. She worked 30 plus years as Executive Secretary for the AMVETS (American Veterans) Dept. of TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marshal and Irene (Meadows) Spurlock. She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Dale Kile of Chattanooga, TN; one sister and brother-in-law, Virginia and Sonnie Potts of Mt. Juliet, TN; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Funeral service will be held at 8:30 p.m., Friday, January 7, 2011 in the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Johnson and Rev. Max Redman officiating. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Cottonport Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 - 8:30 p.m., Friday, January 7, 2011 at the funeral home. Pallbearers: Teddy Layman, Doug Price, Eric Kile, Ronnie Allen, Tommy Copeland and Anthony Pharris.
