Michael Anthony "Tony" Letner

Michael Anthony “Tony” Letner, age 55, of Athens, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023, surrounded by his family. He loved dancing, helping the less-fortunate, antiques, sports, and his family. He is preceded in death by his father: James Letner, son: Shane Letner, infant brother: Billy Letner, grandparents: Dale and Maudie Letner, Joe and Melba Moore. He is survived by his mother: Barbara Martin; daughter: Kristie (Haden) Browder, grandchildren: McKinley and Tate Browder, brothers: Ricky (Tina) Letner, Jeremy Letner, several nephews, and other extended family. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at the Walnut Grove Baptist Church with the Reverend Josh Cornelius officiating. The Family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Thursday at the church prior to the service. Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services is honored to serve the Letner Family.
