Matthew Thomas Mcdaniel

Matthew “Matt Matt” McDaniel, age 19, passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022. He was so happy about the birth of his baby, Mia, he adored her, and was a good father. He could always make you laugh! He loved the outdoors, fishing, singing, dancing, cars, and gamefowl. He also loved to watch American Pickers, Moonshiners, and Ice Road Trucks, and even got his mamaw hooked on watching them. He is preceded in death by his grandparents: William “Frog” and Darlene McDaniel. Left to cherish his memory is his daughter: Mia Grace McDaniel; mother: Belinda Fannin (Rocky) ; father: Timmy McDaniel (Brittani); grandmother: Cathy Colbaugh; great grandmother: Christine McDaniel; brothers: Timothy and Leland McDaniel; girlfriend: Jessica McDaniel; aunts and uncles: Tommy and April Colbaugh, Terry McDaniel and Barbara Leroy; several cousins. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022 at 7 p.m. in the Chapel of Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Bro. Rocky Fannin officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7, prior to the service. Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services is honored to serve the McDaniel Family.
