Mary Terrell

Mary S. Terrell, 84, of Decatur, went to be with the lord August 5, 2012 in the Brookewood Nursing Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Justin and Jennie McNeal; husband Joe Terrell; sister Ann. She is survived by three sons and one daughter-in-law, Victor "Donny" Spongrass of Phoenix, AZ, Jimmy and Carol Spongrass of Decatur, TN, Joseph Edward "Teddy" Spongrass of Tampa, FL; one sister Marie Parmer of Panama City, FL; 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday Aug. 9, 2012 in the chapel of Bowers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm, Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
