Mary Lou Shadwick

Mary Lou "Lou Lou" Shadwick, 59, of McMinn County, died Sunday Oct. 12, 2014. She was born June 16, 1955 in Denton, Texas and raised in Carlsbad TX. Mary was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church of Decatur. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rue B. and Effie Hall; step son William Destery Shadwick. She is survived by her husband, William T. Shadwick, of Athens; 3 sons and their spouses, Ray and Kerri Wallace, of San Angelo, TX, Bill and Torri Wallace, of Bronte, TX, Stephen and Courtney Braddock, of Weatherford, TX; step son and his wife, Wayne and Mika Shadwick, of Harrison, TN; 1 daughter and her husband, Charlie Ann and Jason Taylor, of Birchwood, TN; special family friend Melissa Hughes, of Decatur; 5 grandsons, Cody Wallace, Noah Braddock, Stephen Jay Braddock, Tanner Braddock and Cameron Slack; 6 granddaughters, Kealy Wallace, Harley Wallace, Zoe Shadwick, Maddy Taylor, Beth Taylor and Madison Hughes; 2 great grandsons Colton and Jaxon; 3 brothers. Memorial services will be held at the Seventh-day Adventist Church of Decatur, Thursday Oct. 16 at 7 pm with Rev. Ron Wooten officiating. The family will receive friends at the church Thursday from 5-7. Interment will be in Johnston Cemetery at Georgetown Friday at 10 am.
