Mary Beavers Rinehart

Mary Theania Beavers Rinehart, age 81, of Decatur, passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Blount Memorial Hospital.

She was a daughter of the late William Arnold Beavers and Mary Imogene Rogers Beavers and is preceded in death by her husband: Dempsey Dean Rinehart in 2020 and a daughter-in-law Barbara Lee Rinehart.

Mary was a native of McMinn County and a 1960 graduate of McMinn County High School and was retired from Shaw Industries with 20 years of service. She was a member of the Clear Springs Baptist Church. She loved arts and crafts and working in her flowers.

She is survived by her sons: Michael Dean Rinehart of Decatur and Robert Kris (Kim) Rinehart of Apison; granddaughter: Petra Rinehart; brother: William H. (Charlene) Beavers of Decatur; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

The funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 in the Chapel of Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services with  Lay Leader Dennis H. Beavers officiating. Interment will follow in the Concord United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The Family will receive friends from 12 till 1 on Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
