Mary "Libby" Emerson Ricker

Mary “Libby” Elizabeth Emerson Ricker, age 74, of Decatur, TN, passed away on Friday, July 29, 2022. She is preceded in death by her parents: Arch and Lillie Roberts Emerson, husband: Jerry Ricker, daughter: Sandy Fox, siblings: James, Donnie, and Lawrence Emerson, Imogene Proctor, Nelta Jane Hamilton, Ethell Clouse. She is survived by her son: Tony Fox (Jerrigayle), daughter: Pat Fuller (David), step-children: Helen Bredwell (Steven), Karen Crisp (Todd), siblings: Anna Ruth Snyder, Dudley Emerson, Sue Crumley, Bill Emerson, Samuel Emerson, Shirley Daniels, grandchildren: Joe Scroggins, Tyler Fox, Abigail and Genesis Benson, Jacob Goforth, Brandi Gibson, 3 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and other extended family. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at 7 p.m. in the Chapel of Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services with her nephew, the Rev. Jeremy Daniels officiating. Interment will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 11 a.m. in the Walnut Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., prior to the service.
