Mary Lee Farmer

Mary Lee (Granny) Farmer, 89, of Decatur went to be with the Lord, Saturday, Apr. 26, 2014, at Starr Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Concord United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Lee Brown and Nerva Farris Brown; husband George Farmer; brother Leon Brown; 4 grandchildren, Beth Brown, Mark Flowers, Randy Flowers, Tiffany Scott; 1 daughter-in-law, Brenda Farmer; 2 son-in-laws, Jimmy Flowers, Larry Goines. She is survived by 5 sons and 4 daughter-in-laws, Jim and Betty Brown of Decatur, Dean and Betty Brown of Cleveland, David Farmer of Ten Mile, George and Susan Farmer, Jr., of Decatur, Dale and Carolyn Farmer of Benton, TN; 4 daughters and 2 son-in-laws, Patsy Flowers, Evelyn Goines, both of Decatur, Phyllis and Jim Laws of Ten Mile, Johnnie Sue and Danny Johnson of Decatur; 32 grandchildren; 56 great grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm on Monday, April 28, at the funeral home. Funeral will be at 8pm Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be at 1 pm Tuesday, Apr. 29, 2014 in Shiloh Cemetery. Pallbearers: Brandon Farmer, Adam Farmer, David Robinette, Jeremy Farmer, Michael Dean Brown, Mitch Farmer.
