Mary Carolyn Ellison

Mary Carolyn (Curnutt) Ellison, 86, of Ten Mile, went to be with the Lord on December 24, 2014 at her residence. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband George William Ellison; parents T. L. and Lillie (Case) Curnutt; brother George Curnutt and sister Dean Waller. She is survived by one son, Chuck Ellison of Ten Mile; one daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Voice (Bud) Everett, Jr. of Decatur; two brothers and sister-in-laws, Dan and Gertie Curnutt, Jim and Shirley Curnutt, all of Ten Mile; one sister, Sharron Carpenter of Sweetwater; one sister-in-law, Justin Curnutt of Philadelphia, TN; two grandsons, Bryon and Kelly Everett and Greg and Stephanie Everett; 4 great grandchildren; special nieces, Katherine Mitchell, Clata Thompson, Carolyn Simmons and Anna Faye Ray; and a host of good church friends. Funeral services will be at 2 pm on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Duncan officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 - 8 pm, Monday, December 29, 2014 at Bowers Funeral Home. Pallbearers: Grandsons and Nephews.
