Mark Douglas May

Mark Douglas May, 55, of Decatur passed away after a short illness, Thursday, Mar. 20, 2014, at Starr Regional Medical Center. He was a wonderful, loving husband, father, son-in-law, friend, proud member of the Teamsters, and a Harley Davidson enthusiast. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Walter and Mary Ruth (Hancock) May; brothers, Allen May, Joe May, Bob May. He is survived by his wife Janet (Patton) May of Decatur, TN; son James Creaseman of Decatur; two daughters Jenny May Phelps (Adam) of Knoxville, Anna Creaseman of Oakridge; sisters, Jean Stout (Bud) of Decatur, Emma Mendoza (Bob) of Toledo, OH, Linda Stoner (Charles) of Athens, TN; Father-in-law Marion Patton mother-in-law Maxine Patton of Ten Mile, TN; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Jerry and Sandy Patton of Ten Mile; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm on Sunday, March 23, at the funeral home. Funeral will be at 8pm Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be at 11 am Monday, at Mountain View Memorial Garden, Decatur.
