Marion Andrew Howard

Marion Andrew Howard, 86, of Cohutta, Ga., formerly of Decatur, TN., went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016.

Marion lived most of his life in Decatur and graduated from Meigs County High School. He was a member of 1st Baptist Church of Decatur. He was a proud American and served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a family man and loved his daughter and granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by his wife Faye Dell Howard; his parents, Jess and Grace Howard; 1 brother Harold Howard; 3 sisters, Fannie E. Mayfield, Jimmie Burger and Lola Bernice Harvey.

He is survived by 1 daughter and son-in-law, Camille and Joe Hommrich, of Cohutta, Ga.; 2 granddaughters, Sarah and Brooke Hommrich.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Wed. Sept 21, in the Chapel of Bowers Funeral Home, with bro. Jim Bowers officiating. Interment will follow in Walnut Grove cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wed. from 11 to 1.
