Margaret Elizabeth Heavner
August 21, 1925 — August 6, 2019
Margaret Elizabeth Heavner, 93, of Decatur passed away Tuesday Aug. 6, 2019 at her home. She was a lifetime member of the AMVET Auxillary. She liked cooking, fishing and crocheting.
She was preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Ola Bridges, husband Charlie Heavner, daughter Geraldine Heavner Kanipe Deden, granddaughter Carole Heavner, sister Juanita Harrison, brothers Fred, Luie and Claude Bridges.
She is survived by her daughter Yvonne Heavner Weese Wilson, 8 grandchildren, over 22 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren including Mason.
The family will receive friends at Bowers Funeral Home 5-7 PM Friday. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 7 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Larry Johnson officiating. A graveside service and burial will be 2 PM on Sunday Aug. 11 in Forest Lawn Cemetery HWY 150 East Lincolnton, N.C.
