Margaret Anne Brown Fish

Margaret Fish, age 77, of Decatur, entered her heavenly home on Sunday, March 3, 2024.

She will be deeply missed by her loved ones, but we will celebrate her new life.

She is the daughter of the late Garrett and Belle Brown and granddaughter of the late Dart and Mellie Wilson. She is also preceded in death by her siblings: Kenneth Brown, James Brown, Mellie Miller.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years: Russell Fish; son Rusty (Stephanie) of Morrison, Tn.; grandchildren: Madeline Fish, Sheng Fish, Westley (June) Koger; 3 great grandchildren; siblings: Bernice Erwin of Chattanooga, TN, Martha (Lou) Lunsford of Oak Ridge, TN, Mary (Ron)Sharpe of Mt. Juliet, TN; Don (Dicy) Brown of Spring City, TN; aunts: Bertha Haynes, Mary Layman of Decatur, TN; cousins, nieces, and nephews who will miss her; Nora Radford-Marcoux, who was her caregiver.

Margaret is now reunited with her son, Mitchell, whom she loved and missed dearly.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services with the Rev. Josh Cornelius officiating. Interment will follow in the Meigs County Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 12 noon - 2 p.m., prior to the service.

The family wants to say thank you for all of your prayers during their difficult time and ask that you especially lift Russell up in prayer as he deals with a tremendous loss.
