Madeline Doris Reattoir

Madeline Reattoir, 80, of Decatur went to be with the Lord at Rhea County Medical Center.

She was a member of Concord Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Sarah (Ponds) Nelson; brother Walter Lee Nelson; sister Patricia Lewis.

She is survived by her husband Claude Reattoir of Decatur; two sons, Jim and Jane Roper of Decatur, Johnny Roper of Rock Springs, GA; two daughters, Janet and Buddy Suggs of Decatur, Jeanie Redman and significant other Kevin Whitfield of Nashville, TN; one fother, Charles and Janet Nelson of St. Petersburg, FL; two sisters, Sarah and Jim Bauers of Salt Lake City, UT, Sheila and Don Peny of Ellabelle, GA; 10 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great- great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm, Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016 at the funeral home.

Funeral service will be held at 12 noon, Feb. 4, 2016 in the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Jackson officiating.

Interment will be at 2 pm, Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016 in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
