Lula Ledford Vincent

Lula B. Rowland Ledford Vincent, 85, of Decatur, TN went to be with the Lord on Monday Sept. 26, 2011 at Erlanger Hospital, Chattanooga, TN. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eli and Eva (Moore) Henry; first husband C. L. Rowland, second husband Oben Ledford; son Gary Rowland; 2 brothers Luke Henry and Gene Henry; two sisters, Ruby Jackson and Dot Jones. Survivors include her husband, Jesse A. Vincent of Decatur, TN; three sons, Charles Ray Rowland of Calhoun, TN, Roy "Rusty" Rowland of Cleveland, TN and Roger Rowland of Decatur, TN; two daughters, Patsy Dye of Chattanooga, TN and Sandy Tallant of Knoxville, TN; one brother Charles Henry of Crandall, GA; one sister Mamie Sue Wright of Riceville, TN; several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of Christian friends. Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 29, 2011 in the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Taylor Colbaugh officiating. Interment will be at 11 AM, Friday, September 30, 2011 at Shiloh Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Sept 29, 2011 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Barry Rowland, Monty Rowland, Darren Rowland, Mark Rowland, Eric Rowland, Jimmy Tallant, and if needed Tim Price and Denny Powell. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Shiloh Baptist Church.
