Louise Mcgann

Louise (Norton) McGann, 93, of Decatur went to be with the Lord Saturday, July 6, 2013 at the Athens Regional Medical Center. Louise was a member of Pisgah Baptist Church. She retired as a cook from Meigs North Elementary School and was a member of Eastern Star in Covington, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jake and Mary (Byrd) Norton; husband, Glenn A. McGann; brothers James Norton and Jake Norton, Jr.; sister, Golden McDaniel Amyx. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Jackie and Ida Ruth Henley, of Decatur; sisters, Bobbie N. Moon, of St. Louis, Mo, Pauline Crumley and her husband John, of Indianapolis, In, Betty Jo Leonard, of Roanoke, Va; grandchildren, Debra and Husband Rick Vaughn, Pam and husband Jeff Lovelady, and Jackie Henley, Jr. and his wife Julie; three great grandchildren and three step great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Sam Norton, Ted Norton, Jeff Lovelady, Rick Vaughn, Jackie Henley, Jr. and Froylan Alverez. A graveside funeral service will be at 11 am Monday, July 8 at Pisgah Cemetery with the Rev. Herman Jordan officiating. In lieu of flowers that family ask that you make donations to the Pisgah Cemetery Fund.
