Lorella Jane Breeden Jennings

Lorella Jane Breeden Jennings, age 52, of Grimsley, TN, formerly of Decatur, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024.

Lorella was a 1990 graduate of Meigs County High School and Tennessee Tech in Cookeville, TN with a bachelor’s degree in agriculture. She was employed with USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service for 15 years until she became disabled. She was a lifetime member of the FFA Organization. She loved her family and friends, farming, gardening, quilting, and helping others. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Methodist Church in Decatur.

She is preceded in death by her father: Samuel “Sam” Edward Breeden; brother: Edward “Lane” Breeden.

She is survived by her husband: James Seth Jennings of Grimsley, TN; sons: James Samuel and Jackson Cole Jennings; mother: Janette Breeden all of Decatur, TN; twin sister: Hester (Tony) Johnson of Athens, TN; niece: Jessica (Conner) Blackman of Cookeville, TN; girlfriend-in-law: Samantha Hensen of Athens, TN; several cousins, aunts, uncles, other extended family, and a host of friends.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, December 20, 2024, in the chapel of Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services with the Rev. Mike Wright officiating. Interment will be held in the Decatur Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12 noon- 2 p.m., prior to the service.
