Lois Richard Tinsley
August 9, 1939 — February 5, 2019
Lois "Faye" Richard Tinsley, 79, of Decatur passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at her home following an extended illness. She was born in Knoxville to Tom and Ruth Richard. She loved music, reading and taking care of children, especially her grandchildren. Lois was a homemaker and attended the Church of Christ of Big Springs.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Ruth Richard; a sister, Bobbie Joe Wilson; and three brothers, Tommy, Wayne and Donnie Richard.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Orville Tinsley of Decatur; sons, Bryan Tinsley (Lisa) of Decatur, Jeff Tinsley (Michele) of Harrison, and Danny Tinsley (Tanya) of Decatur; a brother, Roland Richard (Faye) of Knoxville; sisters, Betty Pike (Wayne), Joyce McGill, and Evelyn Biggs (Ricky), all of Knoxville; and seven grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday, February 8, 2019 from 5pm to 8pm at Bowers Funeral Home. The Funeral will follow at 8pm with Jeff Galloway officiating. Entombment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 11am.
