Lisa Ann Steinecke Lafond

Lisa Ann Steinecke LaFond, age 56, of Decatur, passed away Friday, January 31, 2025.

She was a daughter of the late Darrell and Beverley Mason Steinecke. She enjoyed being outdoors, especially horseback riding and riding motorcycles. She also enjoyed doing diamond art and sewing.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Edward LaFond.

She is survived by her children: Kimberly Steinecke, Richard Murillo, Casandra Murillo, Orrin (Angela) LaFond; grandchildren: October Jankowski, Landon Jankowski, Dixie Jankowski, Ricky Murillo, Riley Murillo, Hunter Griffith, Nahlia LaFond; siblings: Julie (Gary) Christofferson, Dale (Sarah) Steinecke, Ralph Steinecke, Brenda Steinecke; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 24, 2025 in the Chapel of Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
