Linda Sue Schultz

Linda Sue Schultz, age 77, of Decatur, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023.

Originally from Flint, Michigan, Linda served in the Marine Corps in her youth. She’s been a resident of Decatur for around 30 years. She held various jobs but remembered most fondly her work at the Decatur Public Library, taking care of her family, and being a member of the local Red Hat Society.

She is preceded in death by her husband Raphael Schultz, her parents Shirley and Erwin Peterson, her sister Lucinda Bish, and her brother John Potter.

She is survived by her daughter Lucinda Brown, son-in-law Randy Brown, grandchildren Hannah Brown and Matthew Brown, sister Laurie Penrod, brother-in-law Marc Penrod, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
