Linda Davis

Linda Gail Davis, 73, of Decatur, went home to be with the Lord Thursday May 29, 2014. She was a member of Concord United Methodist Church. Linda was preceded in death by her parents C.C. and Edna Mae (Wattenbarger) Sparks; brother, Charles Sparks; brother-in-law, Tony Stewart. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Robert L." Smokey" Davis; sons, Kenneth Davis, Jeff and his wife Karen Davis, all of Decatur; grandchildren and spouses, Jason Davis and Kristal of Cleveland, Jamie Brown and Cedric of Athens, Jill Davis of Decatur, Ashley Davis of Fort Oglethorpe, GA., Rachel Davis of Decatur; great grand children, Isley and Israeh Brown of Athens, Mason Davis of Cleveland; sisters, Peggy Moore and her husband Robert of Redbank, Midge Stewart of Soddy Daisy; sister-in-law, Evelyn Sparks of Ider, AL; several nieces and nephews. A memorial Service will be held Monday at 6 pm at Concord United Methodist Church with Rev. Hugh Bryan officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 4:30-6:00 at the church.
