Lester Lee Ricker, 51, went to be with the Lord at his residence in Spring City, TN on Tuesday, February 14, 2017. He was of the Baptist Faith and he enjoyed singing and worshiping the Lord. He was the son of the late Paul Rueben and Hazel P. Ricker.

He is proceeded in death by his brother; Homer Lee Ricker, sisters; Jessie Mae Steele and Mary Jane Hunter and brothers-in-law; Donald Hunter and LeBron Crisp.

He is survived by his brothers and their wives; Jay M. and Amanda Ricker of Spring City, Walter Charles "Duke" and Hazel Ricker of Ten Mile, Earl Rueben Ricker of Decatur, sisters and their husbands; Bonnie Lou and Otto Appelt of Decatur, Dorothy Ann Crisp of Athens, Rita Faye Ricker of Decatur, Betty and Lynn Daniels of Riceville and brother in law; Dennis Steele of Chattanooga. Several special nieces and nephews and very special friends Lib Correll and Clyde Crisp of Athens.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 8 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowers Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 16, 2017, from 6 until 8 p.m., at Bowers Funeral Home.

Burial will take place at 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 17, 2017 Walnut Grove Cemetery.

Jay Matthew Ricker, Paul Matthew Ricker, John David Bates, Tony Hunter, Matt Teffeteller will serve as pallbearers.
