Leona Ray

Leona Ray, 89, of Ten Mile, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2017. She was a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church in Ten Mile. Preceded in death by her parents; Hubert and Mae Ladd Burnum, husband; James E. Ray, Sr., son; Bobby Eugene Ray, sisters; Cecil Warner, Lillie Coffee, Bell Clowers, Elsie Davidson, Rosie Burnum, brothers; Ralph Burnum, Paul Burnum, Sammie Burnum, Otis Burnum.

She is Survived by her sons; Billy Joe Ray, Sr. of Ten Mile, James E. Ray, Jr. of Ten Mile, daughters; Carolyn Jones of Ten Mile, Judy Walden of Ten Mile, brother; John Burnum of Kingston, sister; Anna Grace Brown of Tulsa, OK., 8 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and other extended family.

Funeral Services will be 8 p.m., Wednesday, May 10, 2017 in the Chapel of Bowers Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Maddox, Rev. Curtis Walden officiating.

The family will have visitation on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 from 5 p.m. till 8 p.m. at Bowers Funeral Home.

Interment will be Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 11 a.m., Ray Cemetery in Roane County.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Jones, Gary Burnum, Herb Clowers, Don Walden, Ronnie Burnum, Allen Ray.
