Lena Rose Dennis

Lena Rose Dennis, 69, of Decatur, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at Parkridge Medical Center. She was a member of Clear Springs Baptist Church. She was previously employed with Wades Cash Store, Greenes Food Store and Shaw Industries. She was preceded in death by her father Jake A. Dennis and brother John A. Dennis. She is survived by her mother, Ethel (Walker) Dennis of Decatur; brother Roy Dennis of Decatur; and special friend Joy Fay Hutsell.. Funeral services will be held at 8 pm Friday, June 12, 2015 in the chapel of Bowers Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Rolen and Rev. Ralph Swafford officiating. The family will receive friends 5-8 pm Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Walnut Grove Cemetery, Saturday at 10 a.m.. Pallbearers will be Charlie Miller, Scott Womack, Nelson Cope, Terry Brown, Troy Crowder and Tony Jarvis.
