Larry Wilson

Larry Monroe Wilson, 70 of Decatur, went home to be with the Lord May 9, 2016, He was of the Baptist Faith. He was a native of Meigs County. Member of the Knoxville Boiler Makers Union #453 and he enjoyed NASCAR Racing.

He is proceeded in death by his parents: Norman and Rosie Moses Wilson.

He leaves behind his Fianc Debra Lewis, of Decatur, His Son Edward and Tiffany Wilson of Decatur, His Daughter Morgan Wilson and Fianc Scott Holzworth of Decatur.
Two Brothers Charles Wilson of Decatur, Wayne and Linda Wilson of Decatur, and two Sisters Opal Heck of Decatur and Lesia and David Fitch of Decatur. He had one Grandchild Ashby Wilson of Decatur. He will also be missed by several nieces and nephews and many good friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 11, from 5 until 8 p.m., at the funeral home, with the funeral to follow at Bowers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jamie Davis officiating.

Burial will be held at 11a.m., Thursday, May 12, 2016 in the Cottonport Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Justin Wilson, Kenny Vaughn, Scott Holzworth, Doug Wilcox, Danny Smith, and Ronnie Proffitt.
Honorary Pallbearers: Jimmy Carter.
