Larry Dewayne Johnson

Larry Dewayne Johnson, age 55, of Decatur, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2024.

He was a son of the late Earl David and Betty Patterson Johnson. He was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed logging, watching the Falcons play football, and fishing.

He is preceded in death by his son: Jackson Dewayne Johnson.

He is survived by his children: Kayla (Andrew Smith) Johnson, Jacob Mckenzie, Shelby Johnson; grandchildren: Lilly Johnson, Ava Swift; siblings: Sharon Newby, Deborah (David) Hardin, Cathy (Gary) Roberts, Rhonda (Terry) Thurman, Jason (Kat) Johnson, Jessica Johnson, Nicole McDermott; mother of his daughter: Cleecie (Jackie) Robinson; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, in the chapel of Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services.

The family will receive friends from 1 – 2 p.m., prior to the service.
