Larry Lee Corbitt
November 18, 1951 — April 10, 2024
Larry Lee Corbitt, age 72, of Decatur, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024.
He was a loving and devoted husband, daddy, papaw, and great-grandfather. He loved his special 1976 Monte Carlo, could fix anything, and was there for anyone at any time. He was the epitome of a family man. His faith was in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.
He is preceded in death by his mother: Ethel Hatcher; brother: Ben Corbitt.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 5 years: Shannon Corbitt, children: Lynette Lea (Ross) Irwin, Johnna Lee (Toby) Brogden, Brandon Lee (Tabitha) Corbitt; grandchildren: Arian Leann (Justin) Kennedy, Gunner Lee, Asher Lee, Samuel Lee, Adalyn Jolee, Archer Lee, Cam Axle; great-grandchild: Charlee Ann; siblings: Robyn (Jody) McDonald, Lori (Anthony) Loden; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2024, in the Chapel of Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services, with Pastor Toby Brogden officiating. Interment will follow in the Standifer Cemetery in Sale Creek.
The family will receive friends from 12 noon – 2p.m., prior to the service.
