Kimberly Sue Green Godsey

Kimberly Green Godsey, age 42, of Decatur, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024.

She was a devoted and loving mother and daughter. She loved being outdoors in nature and on the lake. She also loved playing Fortnite and darts with her girls and shopping with her mom. She was of the Christian faith. She worked in the Deli at the Piggly Wiggly.

She is survived by her parents: Sue Wilson (Scott) Bowman; Ronald (Robbie) Green; daughters: Hayley Godsey, Miranda Godsey; brother: Shane Crisp; stepsister: Melanie Snyder; stepbrother: Shane Arrowood; nephew: Dillon Crisp; other extended family and a host of friends.

A funeral service will be held at 7 pm. on Thursday, December 19, 2024, in the chapel of Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services with the Rev. Curtis Walden officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m., prior to the service.
