Kenneth Edward Mchone

Kenneth Edward McHone, age 79, of Decatur, TN, died Monday, September 6, 2010 at Erlanger Hospital. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents, Merritt Burgin and Tempie (Norton) McHone; 6 sisters, Ida Bidwell, Sarah Walden, Net Armour, Carrie Greene, Dollie Sivley, Louise McHone; 4 brothers, Rex (Duck) McHone, John (June) McHome, Milford (Buckle) McHone and Arnold McHone. He is survived by two sons and daughter-in-laws, Tim and Brandy McHone of Decatur, TN, Charles and Sandy McHone of Ooltewah, TN; two daughters, Marie Charles of Decatur, TN and Michelle Monroe of Etowah, TN; two sisters, Imogene Dimon of Red Bank, TN and Joann Anderson of Ooltewah, TN; one brother-in-law, Bob Greene of Kingston, TN; 13 Grandchildren; 4 Great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday September 8, 2010 in the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clyde Fitzgerald officiating . Interment will follow in the Pisgah Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be: Grandsons.
