Kenneth Edward Griffith

Kenneth Edward Griffith, 77, of Decatur passed away unexpectedly at his residence Thursday, July 5, 2018. He was born in Akron, Ohio to Kenneth Paul and Cora Mae Griffith and had been a resident of Decatur for the past 20 years coming from Cleveland.

Kenneth enjoyed watching football and spending time outdoors in the woods and countryside. He was an over-the-road truck driver until his retirement. Kenneth proudly served in the U.S. Army in the 1960's and earned his parachutist badge while enlisted.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Cora Griffith.

Survivors include his loving wife of 18 years, Sandra Griffith of Decatur; his daughter, Sabrina Riden of Decatur; a sister, Carol Cadwallader (Denny) of Ohio; two grandchildren, Kaia and Layla of Decautr; two nieces, Dian Horvatic (John) of Florida and Beth Oplinger of Ohio; and his nephew and best friend, Scott Cadwallader (Pam) of Ohio.

No services are scheduled at this time.

The family has entrusted Bowers Funeral Home of Decatur with the arrangements for Kenneth Edward Griffith.
