Juniper Brady Meadows, Jr

Juniper Brady "J.B." Meadows , 74 of Ten Mile, passed away on Sunday November 19, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his family.

He was a son of the late Juniper B. Meadows, Sr. and Opal Letner Meadows and was of the Protestant faith. He was a United States Navy Veteran and served during the Vietnam Conflict and was retired from the TVA - Watts Bar Nuclear Plant.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters: Rosemary Meadows and Brenda Swafford, and Father-in-law and mother-in-law, Marshall F. and Babette LaFex

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Barbara Meadows of Ten Mile,daughters; Marcella Childers (Jeffrey) of Smyrna, Anita Manis (Dan) of Maryville TN, and Kathleen Ray of Ten Mile, a son, Ricky Meadows of Ten Mile, sisters: Margaret Brady (Bud) of Decatur, Phyllis Butcher of Georgia, Lois Christen of Cleveland, and Diane Cook (Ronnie) of Athens, TN, eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, other extended family, and a host of friends also survive.

Funeral Service will be held at 2 P.M., Wednesday , November 22, 2017 in the Chapel of Bowers Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Jackson officiating.

Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
