Juanita Helen Rinehart

Juanita Newman Rinehart "Polly", 89, of Decatur passed away June 17, 2018. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She had many friends and relatives. She was a life-long resident of Meigs county and was the oldest of eleven children of the late Tom and Velma Newman.

Polly retired from The Tennessee Valley Authority and was a member of the Concord united Methodist Church. She loved going to church and also attended the Calvary Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Velma Wilson Newman; two sons, Ronnie Rinehart and Marshal "Butter" Rinehart; a daughter, Connie Rinehart Oran; a grandson, John Boss Rinehart; a granddaughter, Candy Runyan; a great-grandson, Nikko Mack; brothers, Thomas Reece Newman, John Newman and Robert Edgar "Ed" Newman; a sister, Joyce Newman Chockham; the father of her children, Sandy Doc Rinehart and her second husband, Floyd Henley.

Survivors include her son Melvin Mel" Rinehart; daughters, Judy Rinehart Bivens and Sandra Rinehart D'Atri; grandchildren, Tommy Rinehart (Bobbie Jean), Ben Runyan and his friend Kathy Bowers, Shane Runyan, Stacy Runyan, Amy Mack (Mike), Crystal Curtis (Matt), Stephen Bryant, Thimothy Pearson, and Taylor D'Atri; and great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Cesily, Shayna, Harper, Averi, and Thea; and great great-grandchildren, Layna and Liam; brothers, Willie M. Newman (Elois), James "Jim" Newman (Mary) Bige Newman (Roberta), Ralph "Pete" Newman (Carolyn), and Archie "Bo" Newman (Vickie) and a sister, Carolyn Tallent (Claude).

The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 20, 2018 5pm to 7pm at Bowers Funeral Home. The funeral will begin at 7:00pm following the visitation with Rev. Hugh Bryant officiating. A private burial will in Concord United Methodist Church Cemetery in Decatur on a later date.
