Juanita Nance

Juanita (Masterson) Nance, age 81 of Decatur, TN passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at her residence. She was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church. She was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary; American Legion. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Nancy (Dugger) Masterson; brothers Delbert Masterson, Fred Masterson; sisters, Kathryn "Boots" Chilton, Mary Young, Sarah Allen, Lottie Austin, Elsie Skaggs, great grandchildren, Steven James McCoy and Katie Sue Kusznir. She is survived by her husband John F. Nance of Decatur, TN; children Sarah Jane Magro of Chattanooga, TN, Mary Jo Francek of Ferndale, MI, John F. Nance Jr. of Decatur, TN and Thelma Jean Kester of Ferndale, MI; Grandchildren, James R. Magro, Rosie McCoy, Eric Kusznir, Sarah Stokes, Timothy Francek; great grandchildren, Mark A,. Letner, Christopher R. McCoy, Katlyn S. Stokes, Cameron D. Francek, Devon T. Francek; siblings, Bonnie Chilton of Hopkinsville, KY; many nieces and nephews, among them a favorite niece JoAnn Mason. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 2, 2010 in the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Lewis officiating. Interment will be in the Shiloh Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m., Thursday, July 1, 2010 at the funeral home.
