Juanita Belle Millsaps

Juanita Belle Millsaps, 83, of Decatur, went home to be with the Lord Friday, June 12, 2015, in Brookewood Nursing Center. She was an Honorary Member of Saddle Pals Riding Club. She was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband John Millsaps; parents, Newell and Mary (McKeehan) Howard, son Billy Millsaps, step sister Helen Millsaps. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Roy and Winnie Millsaps of Sale Creek, TN; daughters and son-in-laws, Virginia and Donald (Donnie) Lee of Decatur, Carolyn and Tommy Oliver of Decatur; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Shirley Howard of Decatur; step sister, Vera and Kenneth Bunch of Decatur; three grandchildren, Pam Massengale, Jennifer Lee and Jason Oliver; one great grandchild, Ethan Massengale; and a host of good Christian friends. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 16, 2015 in the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Troy Crowder and Rev. Gary Rolen officiating. Burial will be in the Walnut Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 pm Monday at the funeral home. Pallbearers: Terry Oliver, Rick Toops, Bobby McElroy, Eric Mathis, Conway Ferguson, and Alan Howard.
