John William Tilley

John William Tilley, 48, of Ten Mile, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2014. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church. He was a member of AMVETS Post 90. He was preceded in death by his father John William Tilley. He is survived by his mother, Anna Sue Tilley of Ten Mile; 2 sons, Derrick Tilley of Ten Mile and Casey Peyton Tilley of Etowah, TN; 1 brother and sister-in-law Donny and Chris Tilley of Ten Mile; 1 sister and brother-in-law, Sheila and Lee Pillion of Decatur, TN; girl friend Joyce Carter; and a host of good friends. Funeral service will be at 8 p.m., Saturday, November 29, 2014 in the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Couch officiating. Interment will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 30, 2014 in Mountain View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014 at the funeral home.
