Joann Johnson

JoAnn Johnson, 68, of Kingston passed away Thursday, August 30, 2018. She was born in Kingston and was a lifelong resident. JoAnn was a homemaker who also loved to play the piano and sing. She also loved being outdoors, especially going to the lake or parks. She was Church of God by faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Pearle Walden; her husband of 47 years, Larry Lynn Johnson; and siblings, Margaret Christopher, Edgar Walden, Bud Walden, Marie "Tootie" Holder, Christina Holder, Bobby Walden, Dick Walden, and an infant sister.

Survivors include her sons, Greg Johnson of Oakdale, Kevin Johnson of Kingston, and Gary Johnson of Kingston; a brother, Larry "Bootsie" Walden of Virginia; and two grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
