Jo Ann Mchone Anderson

Jo Ann Mchone Anderson, Age 80, of Ooltewah, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at her residence.

She was a daughter of the late Burgine and Tempie Norton Mchone and was retired from Dupont with over 30 years service.



She was preceded in death by her siblings: Arnold Mchone, Duck Mchone, Buckle Mchone, June Mchone, Kenneth Mchone, Ida Bidwell, Sarah "Red" Walden, Carrie Green, Louise Mchone, Nettie Mae Armour, and Dolly Sivley.

Survivors include her daughter Deborah Jo Combs, Grandsons Chad Combs and his wife Toni and Shawn Combs and his wife Amber, great-grandson Dylan Combs, great-granddaughter Kaylee Combs, her sister Imogene Dimon, and several nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Her funeral service will be held in the chapel of Bowers funeral home at 7 PM on Tuesday, October 29, 2019.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 at the funeral home on Tuesday before the service.

Family and friends will assemble Hamilton Memorial Gardens, Hixson, TN at 11 AM on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 for the committal service. Dylan Combs, Shawn Combs, Chad Combs, Jeff York, Bryan Newberry, and Donald Daniels will serve as Pallbearers.
