Jimmy Dewayne Goins, 65, of Ten Mile, TN, died on Sunday, June 29, 2014 at Sweetwater Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cam Jackson and Ravanell (Trobough) Goins; two brothers, Cam Jackson Goins, Jr., Larry Goins; two sisters, Brenda Goins and Charlene Shelton. He is survived his wife of 16 years Connie (Craze) Goins of Ten Mile; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Wayne Goins of Benton, TN, Michael and Tonyia Shafer of Ten Mile, Eddie Tinker and fiancee Amanda Cody of Ten Mile; three daughters and two son-in-laws, Greta and Bo Maxwell of Benton, TN, Lynn Goins of Etowah, TN, Toby and Julian Swafford of Athens; one brother and sister-in-law, Gerald and Jo Ann Goins of Decatur; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Susan Trew of Decatur, Marlene Bowles of Ten Mile and Lynn and Wallace Stokes of Florida; 8 grandchildren, 10 step grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 8 pm, Wednesday, July 2, 2014 in the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Connie Goins officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 - 8 pm, Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at the funeral home. Graveside service will at 11 am, Thursday, July 3, 2014 in the Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
