Jesse Clarence Roberts

Jesse Clarence Roberts, 88, of Ten Mile, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012 at his residence. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Erwin Taylor Roberts and Mishia (Letner) Roberts; 1 brother, Ab Roberts; daughter-in-law, Mildred Sexton Roberts; sister, Marie Roberts Jones. Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Maggie (Mobley) Roberts of Ten Mile, TN; two sons, Arthur Roberts of Ooltewah, TN, Lester Roberts of Ten Mile, TN; one brother-in-law, Clarence Jones of Loudon, TN; two grandchildren, Lonny Roberts and Lisa Roberts; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 8 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012 in the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Couch and Rev. Rick Duncan officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 16, at the funeral home. Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with a graveside service officiated by Rev. Mike Couch and Rev. Rick Duncan on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Pallbearers: Tony Sexton, Chris Chastain, C. J. Chastain, Jimmy Letner, Jim Bowers, Billy Bull.
