Jerome Edward Weese

Jerome (Jerry) E. Weese, age 64, of Decatur, TN, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at his residence. He was a member of Decatur First Baptist Church. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the U. S. Army. Member of Meigs Masonic Lodge 213, Shriners, Scottish Rites, Elks Lodge, AMVETS, V.F.W., American Legion Army-Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Martha (Gillis) Weese, two brothers, one sister. He is survived by four daughters and one son-in-law, Brenda and Paul Lowers, Janet Childers, Carol Heavner, all of Decatur, TN, Kathy Greene of Mobile, AL; five brothers and three sister-in-laws, Jim Weese of Decatur, TN, Joseph and Patsy Weese, Jefferson and Betty Weese, Jack and Judy Weese, all of Billington, WV, Gary Weese of Akron, OH; three sisters and brother-in-laws, Sue and Bill Perry of Crossville, TN, Janet and Dave Hillyard of Akron, OH, Sally and Elvin Gibson of Billington, WV; 9 Grandchildren; 1 Great Grandchild; and a very Special Girlfriend, Maxine Maxwell of Decatur, TN; and a host of good friends. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., on Saturday June 5, 2010 in the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel with Ken Jones in charge of arrangements. Interment will follow in the Mountain View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m., Friday, June 4, 2010 at the funeral home. In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations to the Ronald McDonald House.
