Jeanette Meadows

Jeanette Meadows, 70, of Decatur, TN went to be with the Lord Sunday, January 4, 2015, at her residence. She was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church. She retired from Duracel after 44 years service. She was preceded in death by her parents, step father Carl F. Holt, mother Bessie Lee Holt; brother Wayne Buckner; sister Wanda Sliger. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Doyle P. Meadows of Decatur; two sons and daughter-in-laws, Steven Doyle and Pam Meadows of Decatur, Anthony Todd and Nicola Buday Meadows of Utah; one daughter and son-in-law, Kristie Lynette and Jeffrey "Kendall" Barton of Decatur; two sisters, Phyllis Karagas of Wyandotte, MI, Geneva Petitt of Cleveland; 5 grandchildren, Tyler, Logan, Ashton, Wyatt and Dylan; 6 step grandchildren, Brandon, Corey, Jacob, Devon, Sierra and Eli; several nieces, nephews and a host of good church friends. Funeral service will be held at 2 pm, Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015 at Shiloh Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Lewis and Rev. Mike King officiating. She will lie in state one hour before funeral. Interment will be in the Shiloh Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm, Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015 at the funeral home. Pallbearers; Jeff Petitt, Jerry Petitt, Travis Petitt, Donald Sliger, Tim Meadows and Bobby Meadows. In lieu of flowers make donations to Shiloh Cemetery Fund.
