Janice Nicole Merriman

It is with Heartfelt Sorrow to announce the death of our Precious Daughter, Janice Nicole "Nikki" Merriman, 27, of Athens on March 28th, 2015. The Good Lord now has you in his Loving Arms and will protect you always. This is some comfort to me but I will never get to hold you in my arms again in this Life but will get to hold you again when it is my time to join you in Heaven. Nikki was survived by her loving companion, Jesse Aaron Lamb and their three beautiful children, Brooklyn Elaine Lamb, James Bentley Lamb and Bailey Lynn Lamb, who were dearly loved by their Mom. She was also survived by her Loving Mother, Penny Elaine Wright and Loving Step-Father, Rodger Lynn Swafford. She is also survived by her Father, Terry Michael Merriman. She was further survived by her Sister, Tiffany Dawn Rogers Yates, her Brother, Ben Merriman, her maternal Grandmother, Janice Mae Wright, paternal Grandmother, Nancy Murphy, Step-Sister, Ashlynne Swafford and Step-Brother, Wesley Swafford. She was also survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends. She was preceded in death by her Grandfather, James Benton Wright. Nikki was a beautiful and loving daughter and loving mother to her three babies. She loved being a Mom and loved to be happy and loved her family. She will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends. She is now at peace with doves upon her shoulders, star light in her eyes, and singing for Jesus in the most beautiful place we can only imagine. There will be a memorial service in honor of Nikki's time with us on April 9, 2015 at 8 o'clock pm at Bowers Funeral Home in Decatur, TN with her aunt Tina Wright officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-8 Thursday at the funeral home.
