Janice Mckenzie Lyke

Janice McKenzie Lyke, age 65, of Lenoir City, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at UT Medical Center, Knoxville. She was a daughter of the late Weaver and Rosa Lee (Holland) McKenzie. She was an avid snow skier, beach lover, and gardener. She was very selfless and willing to help anyone in need. She was an angel in the life of all. She is preceded in death by her brother: James Robert McKenzie. Janice is survived by her sons: Brian Thomas of Hixson, Chris Hole of Cleveland; 4 grandchildren; sisters: Linda Hutsell, Kathy Womack; brother: David McKenzie; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Pastor Noman Huskey officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 to 2, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the ASPCA (tinyurl.com/2bnw2zux).
