Janet Lee King

Janet Lee King, 58, of Decatur, went home to be with the Lord Monday, Jan. 7, 2013. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church, Decatur, TN. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Brown Walker; son, Chris Dyke. She is survived by her husband, Paul King; father, Calvin Walker; son Billy and his wife Gloria Dyke of Athens; 4 step children and their spouses, Shelly and Donnie Willis, of Niota, Michael and Amanda King, Richard King, Lisa and Travis Allen, all of Athens; brother, Steve Walker, of Decatur; grandchildren Cooper, Baylee and Bradlee Dyke; several step grandchildren; aunts and uncles Sue and Herbert Borden, Wilma and H.E. Myers, Lois Dyke, Anna McKee, all of Maryville, Ronnie Brown, of Georgia; special nieces, Rebecca Sneed, Susan Norton; several nephews. Funeral Service will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday., Jan. 8, 2013 with Pastor Mike Couch officiating at Bowers Funeral Home. Interment will be at 1 p.m., Wed., Jan. 9, 2013 in Forest Hills Baptist Church Cemetery, 1850 Forest Hills Rd, Maryville, TN. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
