Jane Mccallister West Wheeler

Jane McCallister West Wheeler, age 67, of Etowah, TN, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2022. Jane was a member of Cambria Baptist Church where she served as treasurer for several years. She volunteered at the Athens Senior Center for many years. She retired from Johns Manville as HR Manager. She loved quilting, bowling, cooking, traveling, shopping, spending time with her grandkids, and watching/playing softball. She is preceded in death by her father: William McCallister, brother: Mike Lawrence, grandparents: Jim and Lucille Smith. She is survived by her husband of 27 years: Neil Wheeler, mother: Frances Lones, children: Phillip West, Wendy Stough (Jacob), April Blankenship, siblings: Don (Beverly) McCallister, DeWayne Lawrence (Sarah), Debbie Strickland, Katheryn Studdard (H.D.), 5 grandchildren, one niece, special friends: Kay Alexander, Patsy Sloan. A Graveside service will be held on Friday, July 29, 2022, at 10 a.m. in the Green Hill Cemetery in Etowah with the Rev. Jimmy Dunn officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
