James William Weese

James William Weese "Jim", 75, of Decatur passed away Sunday, August 5, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Pittsburg, PA and had been a resident of Decatur for the past 40 years coming from West Virginia. He was a son of the late John and Martha Weese. He had worked at Shaw Industries as a towmotor driver and he enjoyed mowing the grass and cooking.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Martha Weese and his wife Bernadine Weese.

Survivors include four brothers, Jack Francis Weese of Billington, WV, Jeff Weese (Betty) of Billington, WV, Gary Weese of Akron, OH and Joseph Weese (Patricia) of Billington, WV; three sisters, Sue Perry (William) of Crossville, Sally Gibson of Billington, WV and Janet Hillyard of Akron, OH; six children; fifteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 10am to 12pm on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Bowers Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at the funeral home Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at 12pm with Rev. Max Redman officiating. Burial will follow in Five Points Cemetery in Decatur.
